Every good design starts with a purpose.
Working with IKBSystems means knowing the difference upfront. You will have clarity on the outcome before you are asked to approve anything.
We build systems our clients are still glad they own in year five. Design, installation, and support answer to our standard.

Good AV disappears into the work.
The best systems carry a meeting, a class, or a service without asking anything of the people using them. The room works. The day continues. The only thing anyone has to think about is what they came to do.
A great system is the one you forget is there.
Good AV is a compounding asset.
A system built to be owned returns value for years. A system built to be sold needs replacing sooner than anyone wanted. We design for ownership: high MTBF, proactive support, and flexibility as technology changes.
The people who design the system are the people who support it.
One team. One number to call. Accountability lives with the people who know why the system was built the way it was.
International Klein Blue, or IKB, is a distinct hue developed by Yves Klein for his paintings and sculptures. Works like IKB 79 suspend ultramarine pigment in a resin binder that holds the color at full intensity. Contemporaneous methods dulled the vibrancy of the pigment sources. Klein’s method offered a solution: a new medium that delivers color as it was meant to be seen.
IKBSystems takes its name from that discipline. Commercial AV has its own dulling forces: one-size-fits-all designs, commoditized relationships, poor execution, and muddied outcomes that don’t satisfy. Our work holds the design intent at full intensity, from first conversation through years of ownership and operation.
I was tired of watching cut-rate integration in my own backyard, of shops that force customers into compromise and leech value out of the investment. I started IKBSystems to hold a higher standard for AV in Nashville and the Southeast. If you are tired of it, too, this is for you.

By the time you're ready to talk to someone, you're really hoping to talk to someone who won't get in your way.
Effort has eroded. Help is transactional. Poor service feels normalized everywhere.
IKBSystems is structured around doing battle against those forces. Design decisions, planning, and execution are streamlined through leadership. Quality persists from the first conversation through ongoing maintenance.
