What is the difference between AV installation and integration?
AV install is primarily about the physical construction and placement of devices and infrastructure that comprise the system. Integration is an overarching theme across all services that means we achieve cohesion with the end result.
Can you install a TV for me?
This is a stand-in question for any a la carte device install. The answer is probably yes, but let’s talk and find out.
What preparations are needed for the install phase?
The conditions for install are outlined in the design and engineering phase. We are sensitive to your schedule to be on-time and out-of-the-way. We have a strict policy of maintaining and leaving clean job sites throughout work processes. With clean work spaces, we stay more organized and keep obstruction out of your way and to a minimum. Expect to formulate a clear roadmap with our design services to ensure efficient AV installs.
Do you handle wiring and cabling?
Yes, we handle all aspects of integration and what is required. Cabling and wiring are critical aspects of the system install and are normally the first and last matters of business. Our install provides you with defined cable paths, destinations, schema, and connectivity solutions that make it easy to leverage your AV technology.
I have all of the equipment already, I just need someone to help me install it.
Sometimes this is doable, just like the a la carte question from above. Ultimately, this depends on the viability of installing as/is or how suitable it is to include a design review based on the as/is nature of equipment being furnished by another party. The best way will align with your priorities and deliver on quality completeness. We can figure these things out together.
What if issues arise during installation?
Have you ever heard of such a thing? Of course, you know. When we design, one of the outputs will be a proposed schedule. All considerations made will include at least one key troubleshooter area so that the schedule is not blown up. It also keeps stress off of your plate with foresight into what the challenges are. You receive communications in real-time from ownership to maintain a clear status and progress updates.
What is the warranty like?
Standard is 12 months of physical and remote support, included in all pricing. No add-ons required to make sure everything takes off correctly. Don’t be shy either — we address adoption, end user questions, and tunings to adapt to your prerogatives.
Do you test the system before handover?
Most definitely. Testing is part of the commissioning process, which is what gets the system running and fulfilling all of the agreed-upon functionality. Sometimes, people like to revisit the collaborative process to home in specific aspects of functionality such as UI design and parameters. Regardless, a 100% passing test is required before formal training, handover, or complete delivery is recognized.
