TRAINING
Can you provide AV training for our system?
Yes. AV training accelerates adoption, prevents lag in realizing ROI, and minimizes stress from the equation when it comes to setting up and using your AV systems.
What do you think about AV training?
The best training is a product that is backed by years of experience, prepared resources, and technological facility. When we come together, it is not always an end-all, be-all, one-and-done type of scenario; but typically, we prepare for a comprehensive introduction that is optimized for novice users. A Q&A period can be helpful for those burning questions, and post-training gathering or scheduled follow-ups can be orchestrated for power users or more complex devices (such as audio consoles/mixers).
What training options do you provide for AV system users?
Traditionally, our training occurs post-integration prior to handover. AV training also takes form throughout the life of the system as applications and workflows evolve, as you are faced with new questions, and as you ponder updates, improvements, and new technology. If you are ready to learn, we are ready to tackle everything from general system to use to both shallow and deep dives on:
- Devices
- Technologies (technology types, specific computer applications, platforms)
- Skillsets (audio, video, control, computing, networking, lighting)
- Operations (the intersecting of your workflows and your system)
Can you customize training for specific workflows?
Yes. Custom is the name of the game.
Do you provide user manuals or quick guides?
Resource development for AV support is an IKBSystems pastime. These often include assembling of equipment user manuals for digital delivery; physical delivery of included manuals, parts, and accessories; and, creation of user guides, cheat sheets, and troubleshooters. Some of these are ready for training, and some of these are born after training to take the Q&A portion as final inputs.
How do you deliver AV training sessions (e.g. in-person, virtual)?
In-person is always best and usually the only effective method. There are outliers and sometimes in-person can be supplemented with virtual.
Is training included in your AV installation packages?
Training all parties that are relevant to the system use, ownership, and maintenance is a critical facet of AV systems integration with IKBSystems. It would be poor stewardship not to present the final product in an intentional manner. Relevant parties can include end users, operators, leadership, management, volunteers, technology staff, HR, or all employees, depending on the nature of the system.
What does ongoing support include after warranty?
This is hybrid on-site and remote, on-demand and proactive. Usually, questions about use accumulate after an initial ownership term (e.g. 3 months). Sometimes, adoption is persnickety. Tunings, tweaks, and adjustments to your evolving workflow and habits can occur. And prior to this 1-year standard period expiring after a new system integration, we like to do a quality assurance review at your convenience.
How can we receive AV training?
A) You’ll receive this as part of new systems integrations. B) Or, if you need help learning or using an existing system, let’s go!
