Privacy Notice
This notice explains what information IKBSystems collects through ikbsystems.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights available to visitors and clients. It is written to be read, not deciphered.
What you need to know in thirty seconds.
IKBSystems runs a marketing website, not a data business. We collect what we need to respond to inquiries, measure the site, identify the companies that show interest, and block abuse. We do not sell personal information. We use a small, named set of analytics, advertising, and visitor-identification tools, and we honor your browser's Global Privacy Control signal automatically.
- What we collectContact form submissions, site analytics, the marketing source that brought you here, and the company associated with your visit.
- Why we collect itTo respond to you, to improve the site, to measure marketing, and to block bots.
- Who we share it withA short list of named service providers, identified below.
- Your rightsAccess, correction, deletion, and more, on request to [email protected].
Section 01 Who we are and what this notice covers
IKBSystems is a Tennessee limited liability company in the Nashville area. We design, build, and support commercial audiovisual systems for corporate, university, and church clients across Middle Tennessee and the Mid-South.
This notice covers ikbsystems.com, its forms, and the communications those forms generate. It does not cover information clients share with us during an active engagement under a signed agreement, which the confidentiality terms of that engagement govern.
Section 02 What we collect and why
What we collect
- What you give us. When you use the contact form, email, or call, you give us your name, company, email, phone, and the content of your message. We ask only for what we need to respond.
- Basic technical data. Our analytics and security tools collect an anonymized IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and clicks on phone, email, and submit buttons.
- Marketing source. The campaign, source, and medium that first brought you here and the one most recent. We store this in your browser's local storage so it survives across visits, and we attach it to a contact submission if you send one.
- Company identification. A business tool estimates the company associated with your visit from network and firmographic data. This identifies a company, not you personally.
We do not collect precise location, and we do not build a personal advertising profile of you. We do not collect government identifiers, payment cards, health, biometric, or children's data, and we do not buy personal information from data brokers.
Why we collect it
- To respond to you and continue the conversation about a potential engagement.
- To improve the site by measuring which pages and calls to action resonate with commercial buyers.
- To measure and run marketing, including conversion measurement and, as we begin paid advertising, reaching a business audience. We do this at the company and campaign level.
- To protect the site from spam, bots, and abuse, and to run the business and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not train machine learning models on the content of your messages.
Section 04 Cookies, tracking, and your opt-outs
The site uses strictly necessary Cloudflare cookies to stay available, Google Analytics 4 and cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic, Google advertising technologies once advertising is live, the Apollo.io company-identification tracker, and local storage that remembers your marketing source across visits.
We do not show a cookie consent banner. This is a business-to-business marketing site, no banner is required under the U.S. state laws that apply to us, and we honor your browser's Global Privacy Control signal automatically instead. When your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, the site reads it on every page, skips the Apollo.io tracker, and turns off Google advertising and personalization signals. Firefox, Brave, DuckDuckGo, and add-ons such as Privacy Badger and OptMeowt can send it.
Other ways to opt out
- Google Analytics and Google Ads. Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings.
- Apollo.io. GPC or a tracker-blocking extension stops it from loading. You may also email [email protected] and we will forward a deletion and suppression request to Apollo on your behalf.
- Marketing source. Clear your browser storage for this site, or use a private window, and the stored source is discarded.
Section 05 Your rights, choices, and how long we keep data
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we collect, access a copy, correct it, request deletion, opt out of any sale or sharing, and not face discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. For sharing tied to advertising, use the opt-outs in Section 04.
How to exercise a right
Email [email protected] with enough detail for us to verify your identity and understand the request. We respond within 45 days of a verified request and tell you before the deadline if we need more time.
State and regional notes
California (CCPA and CPRA). We do not sell personal information. Once advertising is live, the technologies in Sections 03 and 04 may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing.
Tennessee (TIPA). You have rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. We do not sell personal information. If our advertising counts as targeted advertising, use the opt-outs in Section 04 or email us.
EU and UK visitors. You may have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR; contact us or use the browser controls above, and you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
How long we keep data
We keep contact inquiries for as long as they stay commercially relevant, typically up to seven years after last activity for tax and accounting purposes. Analytics data follows each provider's default windows, currently 14 months for Google Analytics 4. Company-identification and advertising data follow Apollo.io and Google Ads windows. Your stored marketing source persists until you clear your browser storage. On a valid deletion request, we remove what we control unless the law requires us to keep it.
Section 06 Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including TLS encryption, Cloudflare edge protection and bot mitigation, access controls on the systems that receive submissions, and vendors with published security programs. No system is perfectly secure, so avoid sending sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information through a public contact form. Protected channels are available once an engagement begins.
This site is directed to commercial and institutional buyers, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Section 07 Changes and contact
We update this notice as our tools, practices, and legal obligations change. When we do, we revise the version number and effective date at the top and note material changes in the revision history below. Prior versions are available on request.
